Role Overview
The Global Marketplace ROW team is looking for a Global Marketplace Operations Specialist who is customer obsessed, motivated, meticulous and an sharp eye for detail to support critical operational functions. We require an individual with excellent attention to detail and process-oriented mindset to accomplish tasks with grit.
This role will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payments to Coupang Global Marketplace Sellers, review of Seller applications, and processing of Seller operational inquiries. This role will also support in the benchmarking of product prices to ensure attractive promotions are submitted by Sellers. You will be partnering with various stakeholders from Accounting, Seller Support and Account Managers to achieve these objectives.
What You Will Do
Review regular seller payments and process them for Global Sellers.
Review Seller applications and supporting documentation to ensure they adhere to Coupang police. Role may require contacting Sellers to verify their identity and application.
Receive Seller inquiries and account change requests from Seller Support and implement them using back-end tools like Salesforce.
Benchmark product prices to ensure products have competitive and practical discounts for Seller promotions.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of relevant work experience in payment or eCommerce operations
Strong proficiency in Excel
Strong attention to detail, team player
Able to speak and write Korean and English fluently
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in seller operations from e-commerce and marketplaces
Experience in payment operations in Fintech and Banking firms
Trilingual – English/Korean/Chinese or Japanese
Knowledgeable in Salesforce
