SDL KOREA US EN Dialogue Writer
Job Duties
Creation and review of functional dialogues for a Voice Assistant
Quality control: Measurement and management of various indicators
Proactively collaborate with team writers to create a consistent writing style
Share feedback and openly discuss with other writers to brainstorm solutions
Review content quality by checking grammar, spelling, sentence structure, word choice, etc.
Attend writing sessions and meetings
Documentation, management, and propagation of writing policies
One-off and/or side tasks assigned by client throughout project duration (this may range anywhere from linguistic research/analysis to creative (writing) tasks relevant to project)
Requirements
BA in English or similar linguistic degree (Linguistics, Phonetics, etc.)
3+ years of creative/technical writing or comparable writing experience
Native US citizen with flawless grasp of the US English language grammar and style
Familiar with/avid user of smartphones and associated technologies and able to write copies to suit Millennial generation (born after 1980) as target audiences
Knowledge of mobile telecommunications and genuine interest on mobile user technology
Superb communication skills (client, internal/external teams)
Proficient in MS Excel
Preferred:
Creative flair and writing experience
Familiarity of reading and understanding VUI diagrams/flows
Knowledge of VA (e.g. Alexa, Bixby, Google Assistant, Siri)
Pro-activeness in spotting and implementing optimized processes
Ability to work well within an international team
Able to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
Well-organized and good at taking notes
Flexible and able to adjust to fluctuating timelines and policies
Willing to explore work scope beyond those outlined in the Job Description, if necessary
