1. General Purpose & Scope of the Job Position |
|
|
|
|
This position doubles as Business Analyst and Administrative Assistant. As a Business Analyst, known as Connell Project Officer (CPO),
this role is responsible to provide professional business and project management support through data analytics and
system solutions. The incumbent will partner the business to analyze, help Management understand issues and
challenges by providing deeper insight, and lead them to decisions and actions, while enhancing efficiency and
effectiveness of business reviews, operations, and planning. As a responsible Administrative Assistant,
this role will assume the duty of clerical and administrative support in order to optimize workflow procedures in the office and
assist General Manager by supporting him/her with planning and distributing information. |

2. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables |
|
|
|
|
1. Data analytics and reporting
- Drive data analytics and reporting solutions for the organization
- Develop and provide dashboard, monthly & on-demand reports
- Expand our analytics capability through exploring new solutions, systems or
platforms that will enhance how organization uses data in decision making
- Leverage information and business reporting from our business systems and intelligence platform
- Collate required data from multiple sources and partners business to present it in a meaningful and useful format
- Support development of tools and KPIs to measure progress efficiently and effectively
- Provide support and business analysis to develop strategic/business plan as well as implementation of specific initiatives/projects
- Provide and help provide conclusive data that will be used to drive proposals, decisions and solutions related to the business
- Analyze demand forecast from sales and assist in inventory data analysis
- Develop business presentations for key internal and external meetings
2. Data system management
- Drive data integrity in related systems
- Provide system support (BI), solution and continuous improvement through reviews and upgrades
- Be the subject matter expert and drive training for new users
- Work with regional team for data cleanup project
- Assist in creating and implementing business tools to enhance existing practices and prepare processes for path forward
- Conduct training on how to effectively use the developed tool as a part of roll-out plan
3. Senior management team support
- Support senior management team (both local and regional) by highlighting business insights and
challenges that will lead to focused actions and follows through on execution and timelines
- Prepare management reports and analysis for business review meetings to measure and track key performance indicators and
metrics, including coordinating and supporting forecast and budget exercises and highlighting and
communicating variance against targets to ensure alignment, and recommend and implement corrective actions where necessary
- Provide management with relevant industry information pertaining new regulations or solutions that will impact Connell
- Work together with country General Manager and various manages on planning, strategies, and requirements to support growth
4. Cross functional project
- Support multiple business verticals and participate in various cross functional projects
- Responsible for alignment of efforts and initiatives with respective stakeholders
- Drive commitment to project milestone completion and enhance efficiency and effectiveness thorough related tools and
measurements
- Work with relevant business unit in driving productivity projects for continuous improvements in Business financial tools and
processes
5. Administrative Assistant/Secretarial roles
- Provide general and administrative support to ensure smooth operation of the office
- Manage and update visitors list & holiday list
- Assist in making travel & hotel booking arrangements and greet visitors and provide general support (invitation letter, visa, etc.)
- Organize and arrange company in-house events
- Produce and update company official documents & form as needed |

3. Key Skills & Abilities |
|
|
|
|
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in business analytics or relevant business unit
- Excellent handling of MS Office and associated IT tools
- Strong business acumen, analytical & problem-solving skills, combined with structured approach
- Good command of English
- Experienced communicator and able to convey detailed and complex concepts in a clear and concise matters to others with the
organization
- Excellent coordination and organization skill, initiative, self-motivated, multi-tasking, good ability to prioritize workload
- Hands-on experience with business intelligence, Data warehouse applications and ERP preferred |
