In this role as a Data Center Operations Engineer (DCO Engineer), you will be responsible for the on-site management of hardware lifecycle of our Korea IT infrastructure. You will troubleshoot technical issues on advanced hardware, ranging from servers, storage and networking devices on a 24/7 basis. Working with key technical subject matter experts, you will have the opportunity to participate in the design, implementation and commissioning of our advanced IT infrastructure. • Perform Data center Servers and Network systems installation and configurations
• Hardware diagnostics and troubleshoot all Systems hardware and Network related problems
• Intermediate level Linux OS troubleshooting
• Intermediate level Network configuration troubleshooting
• Replacement of internal and external hardware parts of Servers and Network devices
• Storage media (HDD, SSD etc.) sanitization and destruction tasks
• Maintain a high level of system reliability by prioritizing resolution of trouble tickets efficiently
• Work with multiple internal teams (DC operations, DC Engineering, Logistics, Security, Projects etc.) and be a good team player
• Work with external/3rd party vendors and contractors to achieve organization needs
• Adhere to DC operations, Logistics, Security and Safety related processes and guidelines
• Practice and enforce Amazons' Security and Safety best practices
• Share ideas and contribute in projects to improve DC work environment and to improve DC operational efficiencies
• Participate, lead and deliver small to mid-scale projects including Data Center rollout
• Understands operational metrics and drive actions to achieve the targets

자격요건
-
• More than 2 years of IT infrastructure or data center experience
• Basic understanding of data center facilities
• Basic understanding of Linux/Unix Administration
• Server Hardware Troubleshooting and hands-on experience
• Experience in Network Protocols: TCP/IP, Ethernet, L2/L3 technologies
• Network Hardware: Copper, Optical Fiber Cabling, Switches and Routers etc.
• Experience with task tracking, prioritization and escalation procedures
• Strong communication skills
• Language: Basic level of English reading/writing skills (Korean is mandatory)
• BA/BS in technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Passionate about IT infrastructure and hardware
• Applicants must have valid work authorization in Korea
• Applicants must not have restriction of traveling abroad
• This role involves covering 24x7 shift rotation

• 데이터센터 설비에 대한 기본적인 이해
• 리눅스 / 유닉스 관리에 대한 높은 수준의 이해
• 서버 HW 이슈 해결 및 실무 경험
• 네트워크 프로토콜 경험 : TCP / IP, 이더넷, L2 / L3 기술
• 네트워크 하드웨어 : 구리, 광섬유 케이블 링, 스위치 및 라우터 등
• 언어: 기본적인 영어 의사소통 (읽기/쓰기) 능력. (한국어 능력 필수)
• 관련 분야 학사 학위 보유자 혹은 이와 유사한 수준의 경험 보유
• IT 인프라 및 하드웨어에 대한 열정
• 국내법상 한국내에서 취업 가능자
• 해외여행 결격 사유가 없는자
• 24X7 교대 근무 가능하신 분
