We are looking for a

Project Engineer

Ulsan,Korea, Republic of (KR) 

This position is to contribute to the success of the projects on the issues of timing and budget, based on a professionalized approach of full project cycle management,

i.e. control of projects according agreed INEOS Styrolution tools and procedures, in a phased gate approach and within the framework of INEOS Styrolution.

Initiate technical proposal for the process improvement and new projects.

Design improvements and solutions with process engineers to implement in a cost effective and efficient manner to improve operations, cost, SHE/LTO or expansions.

Key Result Areas:

Project Implementation

Major Activities: 

- Identification of appropriate engineering consultants for respective projects

- Providing Technical recommendation to procurement

- Support procurement for finalization of contracts

- Monitor project execution

- Align all key SHE elements during Engineering & Design and Implantation & Construction during execution of projects

- Close projects in a timely manner and support all post closure audits.

Outcome: 

Monitor effective execution of Projects

Key Result Areas:

Technical support for process optimization

Major Activities:

- Gathering operation problem from production team.

- Analyze the situation and make the countermeasure with relevant teams. (Production / Maintenance / QA / Global technology team)

- Proposal and management or implementation.

- Communicate with relevant teams to plan & design for project.

- Proceed in collaboration with the teams.

Outcome:

Providing support for achieving production target and better productivity.

Required profile:

- University graduated majored in chemical engineering or chemistry related

- Fluent in written and verbal English

- ~3 years overall Experience for production and related job in manufacturing functions

- Project and engineering management

- Knowledge on project controlling

- Engineering knowledge on all relevant streams

- Should know compliance related legal requirements

- Relevant SHE knowledge

- Computer proficiency in MS project, PERT/CPM

- Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.
