 HCPA 국제특허법률사무소는 미국 특허 로펌 (HC Park & Associates, PLC, 대표 박해찬 변호사, 30여명)의 한국 지부로서, 성실하고 미래 지향적인 신입사원을 모집합니다

I. 모집대상 및 인원: 신입사원 O 명

II. 모집부문 : IP Specialist (교육 훈련 후 담당)

1.  Nature of Work:
    • As an Intellectual Property (IP) Specialist, you will work with Patent Attorneys, managing worldwide patent prosecution matters which include filing of new applications, responding to office actions received from various patent and
trademark offices such as the USPTO and the KIPO, and managing
maintenance and renewal fees.

2.  Essential Responsibilities:
     • Docketing (managing the patent application process; processing and entering essential information such as deadlines into a database)
     • Making shell documents (preparing and drafting legal documents for Patent Attorneys which requires understanding and interpreting legal terms)
     • Filing (e.g. patent, design patent, and trademark applications, Information Disclosure Statement (IDS), responses to Office Actions)
     • Reporting to client and invoicing
     • General administrative support, Operating client IP management system and       any IP related tasks

  * 3 month mandatory training program in the U.S. office (changeable depending on company schedule/circumstances) 
   
3.  General administrative support:
     • Operating client IP management system and any IP related tasks
     • Billing, accounting management and accounts receivable management
     • General accounting (e.g. tax invoice, 4 Major Public Insurance, Payroll management, international remittance)
 

III. 근무조건 및 자격

1.  근무조건: 주5일 근무제

2.  급여 및 복리후생: 
     •  성과연봉제, 4대 보험, 퇴직연금 및 유연근무제 실시

3.  지원자격: 
     •  4년제 대졸, 남자의 경우 병역필 또는 면제자, 해외 여행에 결격 사유가 없는 자

4.  우대조건:
     • 영어권 고등학교 및 대학졸업 우대
     • 국내 영문학 전공 등 원어민 수준 영어 능통자 우대
     • MS Office 관련 자격증 소지자 우대 (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Word 등)
     • 회계전공자 우대

5. 근무지: 서울시 강남구 도곡동 (양재/매봉역 인근)

IV. 전형 안내

1. 전형절차: 서류전형, 1차 면접, 2차 면접 (미국본사 화상면접)
    * 1,2차 면접은 서류합격자에 한함

2. 제출서류: 국문 및 영문 이력서(MS Word 형식, 사진부착), 자기소개서(희망연봉 기재 및 어학능력 등 기재)
    * 2차 면접 대상자는 면접 시 졸업, 자격, 경력증명 및 외국어능력증명 (해당자에 한함) 필히 제출
    * 최종합격 대상자는 건강진단서 제출 (건강검진 지정 의료기관)

H.C. Park & Associates, PLC (HCPA) is headquartered in Reston, Virginia.

We have 30 patent professionals residing at the Virginia office.

From our Virginia location, HCPA professionals have access to the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office in Alexandria, Virginia, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and the U.S. District for the Eastern District of Virginia.

HCPA has an office in Seoul and has expanded its roles.

Some of our Korean clients include: Samsung Electronics, Samsung Display, Pantech, Naver, NHN Entertainment, Seoul Semiconductor, Mando, and Hyundai Mobis.

HCPA was established by Mr. Hae-Chan Park in 2005, as a full-service intellectual property firm uniquely positioned to serve its domestic and international clients in today’s global IP community. 

Today, the HCPA team consists of 30 highly-qualified individuals - over half of whom are minorities, and one-third women. 

Steady growth has permitted the firm to expand into Reston, Virginia, which will become the new firm headquarters.
