| Position Summary |
- The Applications Scientist will have the opportunity to work closely with
process engineers in Semiconductor Fabrication Plant to provide Metrology solutions for
complex multi-layer Thin Film measurements, Optical Critical Dimension (Scatterometry)
measurements and Overlay measurements for sub-100nm features. |
| Roles and Responsibilities |
- Applications development and characterization of cutting edge measurement technologies
- Technology/product presentations and technical training for customers
- Responsible for high level Applications support of complex measurement systems used to
manufacture Semiconductor devices / integrated circuits |
Required Education
and Experience: |
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Ability to deliver effective technical presentations to internal and external audiences
- Strong understanding of optical properties of materials
- Experience with computational-based modeling
- Knowledge of statistics, and design of experiments
- Knowledge of basic semiconductor device physics
- Knowledge of numerical analysis, mathematical optimization is a plus
- Experience with semiconductor fabrication and process integration is a plus
- Experience with Ellipsometry is a plus
- Scientific programming with Matlab/R or equivalent is a plus
- Ability to travel internationally- up to 40%
- 2~5 years' of Semiconductor Fabrication experience is a plus
- Fluency in both written and Spoken English required
- Fresh B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering,
