Job Description
DuPont Korea is looking for a Site IT Lead who will be located in Ulsan, Korea.
As Site IT Leader for DuPont Ulsan Manufacturing site, you will have responsibility for End-to-End Service
Delivery for complex, dynamic, and challenging environments. Primary responsibilities include ensuring 100 %
uptime of all site critical systems such as data and voice networks, servers and storage, manufacturing
computers, and lab equipment, to name a few. In the event of failure, IT leaders are expected to oversee
expediting service restoration and drive continuous improvement to eliminate risks through the RCFA process.
Leading diverse local teams of DuPont employees and contractors, along with vendor management of local
and external partners are key to successful site operations. IT Leaders are expected to engage frequently with
Site Staff, operations and business leaders to understand the business needs and service opportunities.
Along with local IT activities, Site IT Leaders are expected to support and implement all Corporate IT directives,
which will include feedback and guidance on local impact, testing, compliance, etc.
*RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary objective of this role is to lead IT service and solution delivery for Ulsan manufacturing site.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
IT Service Delivery for Run and Maintain
• Scope includes IT infrastructure, IT solutions and services used in DuPont
• IT infrastructure includes data and voice network, servers, personal computers, printers and other IT devices.
• Manage local IT asset inventory and overall LCM (life cycle management) of all site IT infrastructure and
solutions.
• Application solutions / services include SAP, applications integrated with SAP, local standalone applications,
applications for HR, Finance, Sourcing, SHE, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Lab applications.
• Act as the End to End Integrator to ensure all IT Solution and Service delivery meet the needs of site.
• Manage IT vendors, ensure services are provided as expected. Manage vendor charges.
• Manage IT contractor and their work.
• Manage impact by any IT change activities, responsible for user communication and change management
• Co-work with and utilize global / regional IT competency resource for delivery of expected IT services
• For incident and problem management, act as the local focal point for all IT issues and work with the
respective country/regional/global DuPont IT teams as well as the respective vendors and suppliers for
escalation and resolution.
IT Solution Delivery for Projects
• Co-work with and utilize global / regional IT competency resource for IT solutions delivery.
• Take leading responsibility for local part of global / regional IT projects
• Work with the local business and functions to understand their requirements and engage them in ongoing
service improvement initiative
Governance and administration
• Manage IT budget and spending
• Manage IT purchase process, verify their invoices against service received and ensure no payment issues
• Ensure IT governance for the IT management process and standards
• Manage IT security management
• Responsible for IT plans for business continuity / disaster recovery
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in IT related with minimum 5 years working experience in site IT in a large IT organization.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills in working with regional/global IT.
• Good understanding in manufacturing IT such as infrastructure and applications in process control network.
• Good communication skills with the ability to describe technical issues in end-user understandable terms.
• Able to work effectively in a complex and multicultural regional/global environment with various stakeholders
and influencers.
• Experience in enterprise IT service delivery with good understanding in network, server, collaboration tools,
end user computing.
