We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer to work in Calibre business unit. You will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging and supporting the Calibre FullScale, a highly-distributed platform for DRC and RET. You will be teaming up with a senior group of software engineers contributing to provide new features and improve existent components. Primary Purpose: To provide development needs for Calibre FullScale in Korea and globally. Job Title: S/W Development Engineer 2 Reports to (name or title): Hyungjip Kim Division/Function: D2S (Calibre design-to-silicon (D2S) platform) Job Family: S/W Development Engineer Primary Purpose: To provide the critical calibre development needs in Korea to support Samsung based on how the business relationship and technical need grows. Major Responsibilities (include % of time): 1. Develop Calibre FullScale. (% of time: 60) 2. Gather customer needs and co-ordinate with US team (% of time: 20) 3. Debug crashes and issues onsite (% of time: 20) Supervisory Responsibilities: No supervisory responsibilities Scope: Design, implement and debug Calibre FullScale. Work closely with key customer and R&D team members. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 1. C++ programming 2. UNIX knowledge. 3. Data Structures knowledge. 4. Algorithm knowledge 5. Communication in Korean and English 6. EDA and/or Lithography knowledge. 7. Software Engineering knowledge. 8. BS in Computer Science OR MS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering. 9. SW development on UNIX environment. 10. Physical Design and/or Verification Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Must be willing to travel via Car or by Air.
