In this role you will:

• Conducts analysis as defined by existing work instructions on raw materials and finished goods to ensure QC;
• Drives for continuous improvement of existing testing methods;
• Performs material characterizations using analytical instruments;
• Uses proper controls for analytical instrumentation, validates and verifies data and takes corrective action when necessary;
• Maintains instrumentation and performs procedures for product testing purposes;
• Tests and analyzes R&D samples, manufactured materials, and in-process samples when needed;
• Works on cross-functional teams as analytical subject matter expert.

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

·         Masters of Science in chemistry, physics or engineering required,  MS(or Ph.D) preferred;

·         General lab instrument (HPLC, IC, GC, ICP-MS, ICP-AES) operations and maintenance experience preferred  ICP-MS strongly preferred;

·         Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office LIMS experience preferred;  

·         Experience with applicable quality tools such as pareto, FMEA’s, SPC/SQC, histograms, trend analysis, process mapping, design of experiments, cause and effect diagrams, 8D problem solving methodology;

• Strong Expertise in chemical analysis related to blended cleans and advanced deposition materials;
• Demonstrated problem solving skills with a passion for learning and teaching;
• Self-starting leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English required
• Test of English Proficiency (TEPS) score of 500 (Class 1) or better for New 2018 TEPS. 
• Pre 2018 TEPS the score must be 800 (Class 1) or higher. 
• The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL) score of 110 or higher
• Must be able to travel to and stay in the US for 65 days at one time for initial training.
