- • Responsible for the day-to-day operations and longer term planning for manufacturing functions, including manufacturing, production control, inventory control, purchasing and shipping/receiving activities, and also S&OP process.
- • Define goals, improves technologies, and resolves problems. Translates customer requirements into stat-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost effective processing and profitable manufacturing of company products.
- • Develops related plans, budgets, and policies and procedures.
- • Development and formulation of long and short range planning, policies, programs, and objectives.
- • Monitor and oversee quality and continuous improvement initiatives which enable manager to meet or exceed plan for Korea Operations.
- • Defines required strategies, defines infrastructures and organizational structures to meet company, customer and market expectations.
- • Develop, coordinate and drive the operations plans and establish procedures for maintaining high standards of operations to ensure that products and processes conform to established customer and company standards.
- • Set and clarify requirements and expectations for direct and matrixed reports based on the strategic direction and needs of the business.
- • Monitor and oversee operational activities with the objective of maximizing the use of organizational resources to meet and/or exceed established targets KPI’s - Safety, Quality, Performance, Delivery and Cost of a small BU/region.
- • Own the environmental, health and safety for the small BU/region.
- • Drive organization structures and programs (e.g. footprint changes, migration/localization, new product, process and equipment requirements) to meet small BU/regional goals.
- • Monitor and oversee the full value stream process from procurement to production to shipment and beyond.
- • Drive strategic workforce planning, successful talent development strategies and Employee Engagement aligned to business needs.
- • Resolve issues with functions within a small BU/region to achieve targeted performance targets/metrics.
- • Develop and deliver clear and concise communications both up and down the organization as well as to external customers and government officials.
- • Formulate and recommend manufacturing policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive advantage position and the profitability of the operation for small business units/regions.
- • Identify, monitor and implement changes to improve productivity and reduce cost and scrap.
- • Direct the establishment, implementation and maintenance of operations standards.
- • Ensure compliance with current federal, state and local regulations.
- • Drive innovation management through the business keeping abreast of market
- • Build accountability and hold others accountable based on their personal performance results/behaviors as well as team results/behaviors versus expectations/targets.
- • Demonstrate and proactively drive performance management, compensation planning and employee relations for direct and matrixed reports.
- • Drive employee engagement in the region/small business unit through communication strategies with strong focus on team and individual recognition
- • Monitor Employee Engagement and Talent Development with the objective of maximizing organizational resources to meet and/or exceed established targets.
- • Measure performance (results and behaviors) while providing timely performance feedback and coaching.
- • Mentor, coach and engage team.

- • Develop and implement materials handling procedures; monitor the cost and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending and achieve volume, timeliness, reliability, and safety standards.
- • Oversee the maintenance of inventory control systems that track the status of purchase orders, inventory levels, and production requirements.
- • Interpret inventory requests, production schedules, orders, and other documents to co-ordinate materials handling activities with the organization’s current and anticipated demand for goods and materials.
- • Liaise with functional or operational area managers (for example in sales, production, or engineering) to that the supply and movement of materials meets their current and future needs.
Key Requirements - 4년제 대학, 관련 전공자 우대
- 10 년이상 공장장 경험자 (300인이상 제조공장 경험자 / 자동차 부품 제조사 경험)
