The candidate will:
• Work across several data center locations and be responsible for day-to-day assistance with capacity management.
• Work closely with both internal customers and external vendors to facilitate smooth project execution by Technical Program Managers.
The ideal candidate would have strong interest with the networking and show the willingness and aptitude to quickly become skilled candidate in Infrastructure Delivery Department.

Upon completion of this 3-month trainee program, successful candidate will be considered to convert to AWS full-time employee.

Key job responsibilities
Infrastructure Delivery (ID) Network Technicians are part of the Infrastructure Operations Team, the backbone of AWS that supports our customers and their rapidly growing businesses by operating world-class data centers. Network Technicians lead projects to deploy, maintain, and expand the physical network infrastructure at AWS data centers. At Amazon, we always aim to exceed the expectations of our customers, and we continuously raise the standards for operational performance in safety, security, availability, productivity, capacity, efficiency, and cost.
Each day presents unique challenges, which include:

• Deploying network hardware and cabling
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Working closely with Network Engineering, Technical Program Managers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects
• Designing the physical network interconnections to Amazon standards
• Working with vendors on large-scale cabling deployments
• Troubleshooting network and cabling infrastructure issues
• Migrating networks in live environments
• Coordinating operations with other Data Center teams
• Seeking out ways to improve yourself and improve the processes and systems we use

자격요건

• Domestic/foreign bachelor’s degree(Applicants are expected to graduate in Aug 2023/Feb 2024 or graduated or those having less than 2 years of IT-related experience)
• Those who can work for more than 3 months from Oct 2023
• Those who can work continuously from 02 2024 if they become eligible for conversion to regular employees through job evaluation
• Interested in Data Center Operation Networking
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Good attention to details
• Majoring in Information Technology / Computer Science / Networking or related disciplines is a plus
• Understanding IT hardware and basic computer/ network concepts
• Ability to collaborate and partner to overcome challenges
• Ability to adapt to changes in a dynamic work environment
• Experience in Microsoft office applications

• 국내외 학사 학위 소지자 (2023년 8월 또는 2024년 2월 졸업 예정자, 기졸업자, 신입 혹은 2년 이하 IT관련 경력자의 경우 지원 가능)
• 2023년 10월부터 3개월 이상 근무 가능하신 분
• 업무평가를 통해 정규직 전환대상자가 될 경우 2024년 2월부터 연속근무 가능하신 분
• 데이터 센터 운영, 네트워킹에 대한 관심
• 우수한 영어 서면 및 구두 의사 소통 능력
• 세부 사항에 대한 우수한 주의력
• 정보 기술 / 컴퓨터 공학 / 네트워킹 또는 관련 분야 전공일 경우 우대
• IT 하드웨어 및 기본 컴퓨터/네트워크 개념 이해

• Relevant Coursework in using Network Technologies
• Knowledge in TCP/IP Protocol, Single-mode/Multi-mode fiber and cooper cable.
• Knowledge in OSI model 7 layers.
• Knowledge on data center operations, processes and continuous processes improvement - Familiarity with common networking terms
• Capable of troubleshooting networking, routing and inter connectivity issues.
• Experience dealing with customers during problem resolution and operating efficiently.
• Effective prioritization and time management.
