(4) 직무 및 자격요건 사항
가. Village School Administrative Assistant
Essential Duties
● Prepare the new school year; arrange homeroom’s list, faculty list & classroom assignment,
organize enrolled student’s cumulative record, and etc.
● Compile and input student attendance, grade report, schedule, and other school records in
Veracross/Managebac and change the record, when needed
● File the teachers’ leave and arrange the substitute teacher, when needed
● Manage VS school supplies, order and dispense school supplies, when needed
● Manage VS school incoming and outgoing mails/deliveries
● Answer telephone to provide the requested information, taking message, or transferring calls
● Greet visitors to school; determine nature of business, as well as direct visitors to
destination
● Prepare and organize VS school events; send out the invitation letter to the parents on school
events, arrange refreshment with Cafeteria, contact related offices, make a signage, flyers and
etc.
● Assist parents and students in making phone calls
● Assist VS principal and faculty; communicate with parents by email/letter/phone, maintain VS
school budget, provide translation when needed
나. HR Associate
Essential Duties
The main duties of this position are to take care of the school recruitment and
recruitment-driven legal matters, including visa(s) initiatives that are fundamentally required to
ensure the school’s sustainability.
Recruit support is extended to coordinate the concerned policies and processes and new hires’
onboarding programs as well. Also, the position holder is to closely support the Director of HR in
handling legality issues related to employment contract matters, salary/benefit
recommendations, and visa(s) matters where necessary
Additionally, it’s to support Educational Leaders in handling employment complexities, ad-hoc
initiatives about legal issues, and employee formal complaints along with the Director of HR’s
guidance and consultation. Details of the roles/responsibilities are itemized as follows:
Recruitment
● Screen resumes & personnel documents and check the references if needed
● Coordinate to manage and advertise open positions both on the school website and
professional online portal where necessary
● Response to inquiries from the applicants/candidates in a timely and professional manner
● Support the Director of HR and other administrators with the salary and benefits analysis as
well as employment contract offer
● Coordinate to arrange the interview with shortlisted candidates for open positions if needed
● Be the primary partner with outside recruitment agencies
Employment - Policy and procedure, Legalities
● Coordinate the process of employment contract that goes through the well-equipped CI
policies and practice
● Coordinate the faculty/admin’s intention survey process
● Monitor and ensure that the benefits to employees are appropriately demonstrated on the
employment contract and a letter of salary/benefit
● Work with each department in order to prepare and provide the items for new employees
● Manage and supervise ODH members’ and their dependents' visa process
Liaise with new hires
● Communicate with all the new hires regarding necessary needs and interests about contract
items, personnel documents, benefits, visas, and living in Korea
● Work closely with administrators in developing and maintaining the new hire portal and
orientation
Qualifications
● Undergraduate degree and equivalent work experience in a related field. Experience in an
international school is preferred
● Ability to prioritize a variety of duties, multi-playing capability, moving quickly from one task to
another with calm professionalism
● Strong Knowledge of immigration policies and laws is preferred(ability to learn fast about new
knowledge and practices)
● Good interpersonal and communication skills
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Korean
● Proficient with Google Workspace
