Reporting to the Training & Education Manager, the Training & Education Specialist is responsible in planning, designing, and delivering the training education curriculum in Medtronic Korea nationwide, generally covers Seoul.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career with a diverse product line portfolio from various operating units allowing you to maximize your potential and expand network in the medical technology. You will also engage with the key stakeholders in commercial business including the internal and external partners on clinical training and medical education management. This opportunity is a contract position for 15 months.

A Day in the Life

• Plans, develops, and coordinates in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers

• Obtains information needed to prepare in-house training programs; prepares training materials; develops course content; determines methodology; and coordinates the development of training aids

• Ensures training program(s) meets company and customer objectives

• Maintains communication with customers to ensure effectiveness of training

• May utilize trainers with technical expertise

• Continuously revises lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date

Must-Have

• Completed Bachelor’s degree qualifications 

• 3 - 5 years of demonstrated training & education experience in the medical devices or hospital industry 

• Strong clinical/technical background   

• Excellent presentation skills 

• Computer and MS Office proficient 

• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Korean languages 

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of method of teaching and learning development process is preferred

• Experience in Commercial/Marketing/Clinical business is highly regarded
