A Day in the Life
Reporting to the Sales Operations Supervisor in Commercial Operations & Customer Experience (ComOps & CX), the Sales Operations Specialist will provide Medtronic Korea’s commercials with structured and customer-focused services over the business flow and to ensure commercials are kept up to date allowing the overall successful running of business by strategic partnering. This is a fixed-term position for 12 months with possible extension and will be sitting at the Medtronic office in Seoul.
This is an exciting opportunity to expand your analytic skills in a commercial environment within the medical devices sector. Work closely with a diverse, talented, and highly successful ComOps Team in Korea.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Enablement
• Manages master data such as customer, vendor, price by hospital and others related in sales operating
• Implements and maintains a variety of daily based supportive functions for internal and external sales forces
• Handles quotation, tender, hospital coding and price contract processes with sales forces with relevant document packages preparation
• Leads overall processes of monthly, quarterly, and yearly revenue close through tight collaboration with CS and Finance to make sure that all sales records are securely acknowledged in system under daily basis monitoring
• Interfaces with corporate function teams such as CS, Logistics, Planning, Finance and Legal as needed to ensure smooth sales operations take place as an initial contact point of business
Sales Force Effectiveness
• Diagrams and evaluates existing operational governing processes for workflow simplifications and standardizations
• Basic business process standardization such as SIP operations, business analysis, reporting and mater data maintenance at Pan-Korea level
• Expend sales operational mechanism and the best practice from A to C businesses
Business Planning & Strategy
• Operates revenue FCST flows and business communications and prepare baselines upon operational intelligence
• Participate in SIP (Sales Incentive Plan) design processes and proceed of scheme and actual validations
• Enable business imperatives such as GTM planning and execution supporting.
Business Intelligence
• Generates and updates score cards for internal and external sales forces and business groups periodically
• Publishes sales analytic reports periodically(daily/monthly/quarterly/yearly) based on territories, districts, regions, products, and therapies
• Provides sales or marketing teams with regular or ad-hoc sales analytic materials to support data-driven decision making
Channel Care
• Prepares and packs partner commission and incentive budgets for a designated district or region
• Distributes sales related information to sales partners
• Sets up guidelines and training courses for partner operations as governing center
Must-Have
• Completed Bachelor’s degree in any qualifications
• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in the medical industry
• Good understanding of sales performance/commercial environment
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)
• Good interpersonal skills, with effective written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English
Nice to Haves
• Graduated with business management, IT or medical/biomedical
• Industry experience (medical devices or pharmaceutical)
• Advance level in MS Excel
• Project leading experience
