Product Portfolio Executive - Foreign national only

Job Title: Product Portfolio Executive
Reports to: Marketing Director

Purpose:
-We are looking for a foreign nationality candidate, residing and eligible to work in Korea (working visa)
-Manage product portfolio by brand (Delonghi, Braun, Kenwood, Nutribullet and etc.) to support successful local business
-Lead right product introduction to local market from global line-ups and drive winning product development based on local market insight as well as consumer’s unmet needs


Main Responsibilities:

1/ Benchmark
- Be responsible for GFK analysis of Korean Market
- Benchmark commercial trends and competitors’ products
- Collect and share local market insights and requirements for the category
- Activate best practices

2/ Product portfolio management
- Implement product portfolio strategy per brand in Korea in line with the company directions
- Manage phasing in and out strategy of the products on 3-year plan that is optimized for Korean market
- Follow up and solve issues of production, importation and quality encountered
- Manage product sample order

3/ New product launch
- Build a roadmap of product launches
- Closely communicate with group headquarters and Asia pacific region for product selection and local adoption
- Work with training supervisor for product test for launch decision
- Lead product launch related basic activities like pack application, specification check, certification process and order process
- Help in executing marketing program with developing product datasheet with key features and USPs as well as launch pack and trade marketing support
- Support commercial team to highlight product positioning

4/ Marketing team support
- Help in various projects and events (Charity Gala, Christmas Market and etc.)
- Support to implement the best presence in showroom
- Manage company product storage room in clean and safe environment


Qualification & Experience:

Essential:
1. University graduate
2. Minimum +2 years of professional product management experience in consumer goods
3. Knowledges about product development and category management
4. Must in fluent in English & intermediate in Korean
5. Demonstrable European experience in global network

Desirable:
6. Understanding Korean market as well as coffee and cooking
7. Precise, organized, proactive and autonomous in execution
8. Strong team player, great communication and adaptability
9. Get involved, multi-tasking, and comfortable in low resource and small organization
10. Worked in an international business so experienced in balancing local needs and opportunities with global resources and priorities
