Sr. EHS Manager (환경 안전/보건 관리자)

*한국 공장의 EHS를 총괄하여 APAC EHS Director에게 보고하는 자리입니다.

The Role:

In this role you will:

• This role covers whole of Korea which consist of 3 manufacturing site, 1 R&D center and 1 headquarter office 

• Provides expertise in all key EHS and Sustainability programs across Korea and proactively drive continuous improvement in these programs. 

• Ensure company is compliance with national and local environmental, health and safety regulations, ISO14001/ 45001 standards and corporate EHS standards 

• Collaborates with site manufacturing and local leadership team to lead and drive improvements in organizational EHS program/ system, culture, awareness, and accountability 

• Conduct incident / accident investigations and develop corrective and preventative action plans. 

• Work with Project Team to ensure proper implementation of MOC, PHA, HAZOP and PSSR for any new project introduction to the plants 

• Provide leadership, support, and training to build technical, management and leadership skills of the Korean EHS Team. 

• Partners with Asia EHS team to support achievement of the company's EHS strategy 

• Participates in the development of the company's Global/ Asia EHS Strategy 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate:

• Special gas manufacturing and PSM (Process Safety Management) experience are required. 

• Gas Safety Engineer Certificate(가스안전기사), Industrial Safety Engineer Certificate(산업안전기사, 산업안전산업기사) or Industrial Health Engineer Certificate(산업보건기사 자격증) preferred 

• 10+ years' experience on managing EHS compliance and/or programs in multinational companies. 

• Masters / bachelor’s degree on Safety, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical engineering, or related technical discipline. 

• ISO14001/45001 or RBA experience are preferred. 

• Fast Technical understanding of manufacturing process especially chemical process 

• Good analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills 

• Ability to influence behaviors and provide clear technical advice and direction at all levels from site shop floor to manufacturing senior leadership level 

• Excellent leadership, program and interpersonal skills 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
