Role: Digital Marketing Specialist
The Digital Marketing Specialist is a position within the Consulting team, reporting to the Director of Strategy and/or Managing Partner. This role combines digital marketing and strategic analysis elements, making it ideal for candidates with a background in both areas. The primary responsibilities include supporting the wider team in research, formulation, and development of strategic deliverables. The ideal candidate should possess an aptitude for strategic thinking, superior research skills, and the ability to seamlessly integrate ideas from team members. Additionally, the candidate should have strong written and verbal communication capabilities, a proactive desire to learn, and the ability to embrace an iterative creative process. A solid understanding of digital marketing practices, proficiency in Google Analytics, and basic programming knowledge are essential to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comparative/competitive brand and digital audits and industry trend reports.
- Draft initial copies of brand and digital assessments, and client presentation materials
- Formulate hypotheses, opportunities, and key findings
- Analyze secondary research and data, transforming information into client-ready presentations
- Find data and proof points for strategic rationales
- Learn about clients' unique nuances and intricacies in the regions where they operate
- Identify, share, and inform the wider team of relevant industry white papers, books, articles, and other worthy information
- Aid in the development of brand messaging and copy for brand materials (e.g., brochures, web, ads) from developed brand promise statement
- Participate in, organize, and document meeting minutes from all brainstorming sessions and client meetings
- Assist in the compilation of client reports, coordination of meetings, and management of project timelines
- Responsible for procuring and sharing information between offices/teams
- Maintain a detailed and up-to-date database of all information and deliverables in both hard and soft copies, and on project folders on the server
- Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Think creatively and develop innovative marketing strategies, with strong visual and copywriting skills.
- Adapt to new trends, technologies, and changes in the digital landscape, with a willingness to continuously learn and improve skills.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in managing content management systems (CMS) with the ability to update and maintain website content, ensuring consistency and quality
- Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and best practices, and knowledge of search engine marketing (SEM) and pay-per-click (PPC) advertising
- Proficiency in analyzing data and extracting actionable insights, with familiarity in tools like Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and other analytics platforms
- Understanding of social media operations and campaigns
- Understanding of content strategy, including blog posts, social media content, and email newsletters
- Basic understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles, and the ability to collaborate with designers to create websites and landing pages
- Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Mailchimp
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, javascript, and ability to make minor website edits and troubleshoot basic technical issues
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confident personality
- Understanding of brand development tools and methodologies, such as value propositions, brand architecture, positioning, messaging, voice, creative briefs, etc.
- Data compilation and analysis skills
- Professional conduct and client interaction management
- Comfortable working in a constantly evolving and highly pressured environment
- Eye for detail
Primary Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3-5 years of related work experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Digital marketing background is highly preferred
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and other digital marketing tools
- Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research
- Knowledge of (CMS and CRM) is highly preferred
- Proficiency in all computer OS (Windows and Mac)
- Fluent in Korean and Business Fluency in English required
