Position -  Supply Chain Manager

직무 개요 
· As the Supply Chain Manager at our chemical plant, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain, from procurement and production planning to inventory management and logistics.
·  You will work closely with internal departments, external suppliers, and customers to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products throughout the supply chain.
·  The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of supply chain management principles.

주요 책임
·  Production Planning and Scheduling:

- ​Collaborate with production, commercial, and other departments to develop production plans and schedules that meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and production efficiency.

- Monitor production capacity and resource availability to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment.

·  Inventory Management:

​- Optimize inventory levels to balance the competing objectives of minimizing carrying costs while ensuring product availability.

- Implement inventory control measures, such as cycle counting, to maintain accurate inventory records and prevent stockouts or overstocks.

·  Procurement and Vendor Management:

- Identify and qualify new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.

- Monitor supplier performance and take corrective action as needed to address issues and improve supplier quality and reliability.

·  Logistics and Distribution:

- ​Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including inbound and outbound shipments, to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

- Work with logistics partners to optimize transportation routes, minimize costs, and reduce lead times.

- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays that arise.

·  Continuous Improvement:

- ​Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain.

- Implement best practices and initiatives to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance overall supply chain performance.

- Lead cross-functional teams for supply chain optimization projects.

·  Risk Management:

- ​Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.

- Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and other external factors that may affect supply chain operations.

·  Communication and Collaboration:

- ​Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including production, sales, finance, and quality control teams.

- Collaborate with external partners, including suppliers, logistics providers, and customers, to align goals and priorities and resolve issues.

자격 요건 
·  Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification is a plus.
·  Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management or related roles, preferably in the chemical manufacturing or process industries.
·  Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.
·  Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
·  Strategic mindset and analytical skills, with the ability to identify trends, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions.
·  Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP systems, inventory management software, and transportation management systems.
·  Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
·  Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
·  Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
