Social Studies Teacher (International School, Grades 7-12)
Location: Apgujeong, Korea

As our academic family grows, we seek a passionate English Teacher dedicated to nurturing linguistic, analytical, and critical thinking skills in students from grades 7 through 12.
Ideal candidates will have a strong command of the US Curriculum and a deep passion for English Literature and Language. An ability to teach additional entry-level History or Social Studies will significantly enhance a candidate's profile.
>>Role Overview
As a social studies teacher, You'll make a profound impact on our students' educational paths by crafting and delivering curriculum-aligned lessons.
Your subject area includes: US History, World History, Psychology, Geography (in general and AP level).
This role demands punctuality, responsibility, and a deep-seated passion for teaching.
>>Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement compelling lessons for grades 7 to 12, following the US Curriculum guidelines.
- Monitor and assess student progress throughout the academic semester, providing detailed feedback and support to encourage both academic and personal growth.
- Leverage multimedia and teaching software to boost lesson effectiveness and student participation.
>>Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or college in the US or Canada.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at the middle or high school levels; experience in Hagwons is also considered.
- Prior involvement in an international school setting is advantageous.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be a fluent English speaker; Korean citizenship or F-visa holder status is required.
- A genuine passion for teaching is essential.
