ASR9000, Cisco 8000, NCS5500, CRS & NXOS Switch(Nexus 3k,9k,5K,7K)와 같은 XR 제품에 대해 전화, 이메일, 웹 및 원격 액세스를 통해 second, third level의 기술 지원을 전 세계적으로 제공합니다. 네트워킹 산업, 제품 및 프로토콜에 대한 실무 지식을 가지고 있습니다.

• A Technical Consulting Engineer for Technical Services is part of a highly skilled team in a cutting-edge technology supporting IOS-XR Operating system routers (ASR9000, Cisco 8000, NCS5500, CRS) & NXOS Switches (Nexus 3K,9K,5K, and 7K). This role will be located at our Bangalore, India campus. You’ll provide second/third level technical support on a worldwide basis via phone, email, web and remote access for XR products such as ASR9000, Cisco 8000, NCS5500, CRS & NXOS Switches (Nexus 3k,9k,5K,7K). You have a working knowledge of Networking industry, products and protocols. Your crisis management skills and ability to handle critical customer issues/problems are second to none. You strive to be an IOS-XR Technical Consulting Engineer that would be driving projects within the business unit and to be part of several engineering and Technical Content Delivery activities. You will work on problems of moderate to wide scope and moderate to high complexity where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.

• SV(Server Virtualization), DCRS, DC Software, ACI 및 스토리지에 대한 실제 경험.
• IOS-XR, IOS-XE, NXOS 및 해당 기본 플랫폼(ASR9000, Cisco 8000, NCS5500, CRS, NCS520, NCS540, & Nexus 3K, 9K, 5K, 7K 스위치)과 기술(라우팅 및 스위칭 프로토콜, BNG, ISG, 데이터 센터 기술 및 관련 기능) 분야에서 신뢰할 수 있는 전문가
• Data Center layer 2 Overlay(예: VXLAN, EVPN) • port security, MACsec, ACL, private VLAN 등의 layer 2 보안 기능
• layer 3 Overlay Protocols (OTV, LISP) • 네트워크 관리 프로토콜(예: PTP, NTP, DNS, DHCP)
• IP internetworking, LAN Switching Protocols (MLS, CEF, Trunking (802.1Q), STP, HSRP, LACP/PAGP), IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)에 대한 전문가 수준의 지식

• chalk talks, web pages, white papers, Tech Zone및 Cisco support Community참여, Cisco Live, EBC 등 서면 및 프레젠테이션 형식으로 시스템/제품 교육 제공.
• 8년 이상 서비스 Service Provider 와 Data Center technologies 에 대한 기술 경험
• 대규모 서비스 공급자 네트워크 및 Data Center Switch Fabric Architectures에 대한 지식
• lab 설정을 효과적으로 활용하여 광범위하고 복잡한 문제를 디버깅하고 완전한 버그 보고서를 제출하는 동시에 품질에 대해 다른 엔지니어의 보고서 모니터링.

• 공학계열(Computer Science/Electric Engineering 우대) 또는 동등 이상 6-8년 관련 경력. 통신 시스템 및 네트워크 환경에 대한 깊은 지식.
• 중대형 엔터프라이즈/SP 네트워크를 분석, 사용 및 구성 가능.
• 라우팅 프로토콜 BGP, MPLS, OSPF, ISIS, VLAN, VPC, 스위칭, IOS-XR, NXOS에 대한 깊은 지식 보유.
• CCIE and/or CCDE 자격 선호하지만 필수 요건은 아님.
• Cisco 제품 포트폴리오에 대한 깊은 지식과 이해.
• 이 포지션은 일상적인 업무에 대한 지시와 새로운 업무에 대한 일반적인 지시 없이 최소한의 감독만 받기 때문에 독립적으로 일할 수 있는 능력. • 검증된 위기 관리 기술; 협의적 커뮤니케이션 기술.

• Hands on experience on Datacenter Networking (Nexus 3000, 9300), UCS-B System/Other issues and Storage Networking.
• Hands on experience on SV (Server Virtualization), DCRS, DC Software, ACI and Storage.
• You are a trusted resource in the area of IOS-XR, IOS-XE, NXOS and its underlying platforms (ASR9000, Cisco 8000, NCS5500, CRS, NCS520, NCS540, & Nexus 3K,9K,5K, and 7K switches) and technologies (Routing & Switching protocols, BNG, ISG, Datacenter technologies and related capabilities).
• Data Center layer 2 overlays for example VXLAN, EVPN • layer 2 security features for example port security, MACsec, ACL, private VLANs

• You can independently solve problems in broad, complex, and unique networks with mixed protocols in high end routing environments for our largest customers.
• You will provide support to engineers from multiple teams as well as the field and aids them in problem resolution.
• You are able to work on complex and diverse problems where analysis requires imaginative and innovative troubleshooting.
• You act as a focal point for large account network problem resolution and provide technical leadership for Critical Accounts.
• You provide systems/product training in written and presentation form, such as chalk talks, web pages, white papers, Tech Zone and Cisco Support Community participation, Cisco Live, EBCs, etc.
• 8+ years of technical experience in Service Provider and Data Center technologies
• Knowledge of large-scale Service provider network and Data Center Switch Fabric Architectures
• You effectively utilize lab setups to debug broad and complex problems and submit complete bug reports while monitoring reports of other engineers for quality.
• You provide input to Engineering and product organizations on future product development.
• You lead the creation of intellectual capital through written documents and machine consumable scripts and signatures that enables faster issue identification and resolution
• You will continuously develop up and coming talent within our service delivery teams.
• Build and maintain trust and relationships with customers and Cisco team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, ability to communicate technology strategy and architecture approach to engineers, executives, and Cisco customers.
• Strong consulting & client-facing skills to include multi-functional influence, external and internal consulting Must Have Skills:
• BS in a technical field (CS/EE preferred) or equivalent plus 6-8 years related experience. Deep knowledge of telecommunication systems and network environments.
• Ability to analyze, use and configure medium and large enterprise/SP networks.
• In-depth Knowledge of Routing Protocols BGP, MPLS, OSPF, ISIS, VLANs, VPC, Switching, IOS-XR, NXOS.
• CCIE and/or CCDE certification would be highly desired but not compulsory.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Cisco portfolio of offerings would be a plus.
• Ability to work independently, as this position only receives minimal supervision with no instruction on routine work and general instruction on new assignments.
• Proven crisis management skills; Consultative communication skills.
