The Sr. Trend & Insight Professional will play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives by leveraging
consumer insights to inform business decisions. The mission of this role is to uncover and interpret market
trends and consumer behaviors to help shape our company's product offerings and marketing strategies.
This role requires a blend of leadership, analytical acumen, and creativity to influence and drive our food
business forward.
[Roles]
- Lead the consumer insights projects, providing strategic direction and thought leadership to the team
- Develop and execute a comprehensive insights strategy to identify and capitalize on market trends and
consumer needs
- Manage and mentor the team, fostering a culture of curiosity, innovation, and excellence
- Oversee multiple insights projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and impactful delivery of findings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, R&D, and sales to integrate insights into
business strategies
- Utilize a variety of research methodologies and tools to gather and analyze consumer data
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and
compelling manner
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in consumer insights and
market research
- Partner with external research vendors to enhance our research capabilities and ensure high-quality
data collection and analysis
[Requirements]
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in consumer insights or market research, with at least 5 years
in a leadership role
- Experience in a CPG or food company is highly desirable
- High proficiency in written and verbal English (Fluent or near fluent)
- Strong knowledge of market research methodologies, processes, and vendors
- Demonstrated ability to apply consumer insights to address business questions and drive
strategic initiatives
- Proactive, strategic, and creative thinker with a bias for action
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of developing and
mentoring staff
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate
actionable insights
- Effective communication and presentation skills, both in-person and in virtual environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with a wide range of research tools, including syndicated data (e.g., POS/Panel data
from Circana, Nielsen) and primary research methods (qualitative and quantitative)
