This role is a subject matter expert role and does not involve people management. The Facility Leader is responsible for Cytiva Korea site overall Facility activities. This position is located in Songdo, Incheon, Korea and will be an onsite position. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 
• Be part of the project team which will drive the site refurbishment and rebranding.  
• Develop and execute URB & site Master plan for the new site. 

• Create and manage design concept and design detail with the customer representative. 

• Main point of contact for customer representative and external providers 

• Maintain EHS compliance with overall providers   

• Plan and oversee work performed by outside contractors relating to utilities, HVAC systems, maintenance,…

• Set companies to be used to maintain the site post ramp up. 

• Set up the right team locally to manage facility. 

• Project planning & management on continuous improvement / cost saving opportunities.

• Deploy preventive maintenance across the plant 

• Experience of clean room ISO 7 & BSL2 construction and maintenance

• Experience of Water treatment for industrial usage and discharge processing

• Experience of BMS & EMS systems setup and usage.  

1. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
   

   • Master’s degree Industrial Engineering or related technical degree 

   • Strong project leadership experience in facilities & budgeting

   • Experience with Korea regulation in the industry

   • Problem solving mindset and ability to juggle multiple deadlines & projects

   • Hands-on and pragmatic, with strong verbal and written communication skills and facilitation experience

   • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

   • Fluent in Korea & English

   • Experience in Biomedical/Life Science

   • EHS specialization is a plus 

   • Corporate / Manufacturing Security related experience desirable
