Purpose of Position:
As a Project Manager, you will oversee Engineered Product Orders from entry to collection, ensuring documentation, schedule, and commercial accountability. You will manage project execution for high-specification engineered projects, representing both the company and customer interests.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in technical (preferably Mechanical Engineering) or business field; MBA is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in project management or similar positions such as contract administration or order processing management.
- Language: Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
- Skills/Knowledge/Experience: Strong leadership, communication, time management, customer service, negotiation, and multitasking skills. Technical product knowledge and familiarity with industry standards (API, ASME, HI, ASTM) are advantages
Major Responsibilities:
- Documentation Ownership and Accountability: Ensure timely submission of documents, communicate with customers and vendors, and maintain high levels of on-time performance and customer satisfaction.
- Schedule Accountability: Manage schedules, track status, issue reports, and minimize schedule impacts on internal changes/errors.
- Commercial Accountability: Review purchase orders, manage commercial documentation, negotiate liquidated damages, and expedite payments.
- Margin Management: Proactively manage margin throughout the order life cycle, maximize profit, and maintain customer relationships.
