[Summary]

Manages a team of individual contributors and/or Supervisors and is accountable for conducting effective performance management. Develops key initiatives and sets the strategies for company sponsored and investigator-initiated study programs that emphasize the scientific and clinical strengths of the company products. Works cross-functionally with other leadership/functions on the commercialization efforts for pipeline and marketed products. Reviews medical writing and other clinical trial documents, reader management, and analysis development and ensures that readers are provided adequate training and guidance on study procedures and criteria protocol.

[Main responsibilities]

· Provide statistical and epidemiological expertise at all stages of the design and implementation of real-world evidence (RWE) studies from planning and design through to completion, in close collaboration with Therapeutic Areas (TAs):

- Contribute to the concept, design, and development of protocols to ensure the use of appropriate and scientific methods in study design and analysis.

- Engage in discussions on fit-for-purpose RWE databases and study design, partnering with cross-functional teams to align evidence generation.

-  Develop statistical analysis plans and perform or guide analyses.

-  Provide statistical insight in the interpretation and discussion of study results.

-  Contribute to study reports and publications.

· Conduct descriptive and comparative effectiveness study using various data sources, including patient-level data from prospective and retrospective observational studies, registries, secondary databases (claims and EMR databases), and post-hoc analyses of clinical trial data across different therapeutic areas.

· Provide thought leadership in statistics and epidemiology, ensuring the scientific validity and overall quality and accuracy of study results.

· Communicate generated evidence through internal and external presentations and publications.

Requirement

· Master's degree or higher in biostatistics or epidemiology.

· At least 4-5 years of experience in clinical study design, statistical analysis, writing study protocols/analysis plans, and manuscript writing for evidence generation.

· Advanced hands-on experience with statistical programming in SAS and/or R.

· Excellent knowledge and hands-on skills in statistics and data analysis methodology.

· Experience in designing and performing RWE generation based on non-interventional studies or large and complex secondary databases in a pharmaceutical environment is a plus.

· Experience in advanced data analytics of large and complex secondary databases and traditional statistical models (e.g., mixed model, GEE) or machine/deep learning (preferable).

· Ability to communicate analysis plans and results in non-technical terms to a non-statistical audience.

· Analytical and creative mindset with a can-do attitude, intellectual curiosity, eagerness for continuous learning, and passion for translating data into business-critical evidence.

· Good track record of publishing research work in international academic journals.
