[금융/엔지니어] Trading Engineer

An international trading company is searching for a Trading Engineer. The chosen applicant will be responsible for providing continuity and stability to the production trading environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Data Centres hosting its trading infrastructure, including proactive system and capacity management
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools
• Work on trading system project management in collaboration with traders and developers
• Drive system improvements, quality, and management of our trading systems
• Automate processes through test-driven development
• Perform troubleshooting with root cause analysis
• Support and oversight of corporate infrastructure where required
• Contribute to good engineering practices and scalable solutions
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, computer science, or a related major is preferred
• 4 years of experience in the sell-side or buy-side financial field
• Practical experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX or Linux-based environments
• Experience with automation software (Puppet, cfengine, Chef)
• Strong networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
• Possess a valid data processing engineer or information communications engineer licence
• Fluent level written and verbal Korean and English
