JOBPPLICATION ENGINEER FOR ASIA MARKET
JOB Description
We are looking for an Application Engineer in the Asian Market. He/she will regionally represent the
Product Management team for the Product Strategy set in the headquarters and
will support the Asia Sales Team with the identification and growth of new business, as well as technical clarification and training
for sales. He/she will observe competition landscape and business roadmaps of
the main players for the strategic relevant markets. The position is for the
Business Unit Materials and Components (particularly on Cores and Components) reporting in
straight functional line to Sales Director, Asia and
dotted line (administrative) to the VAC Korean
Sales Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assumption
of technical front-line to customer by working with sales regionally
- Customer visits to support sales / account managers in
(proactively) identifying technology-driven opportunities before a
concrete opportunity is known
Responsible for understanding all applications of core markets
where our solutions are beneficial Be well versed with the product’s features, advantages, and
benefits by application and to support technical case to convince customer in
designing in our product .
- Provision
of technology / product trainings to sales / account managers
- Attendance
of fairs
- Generation
and documentation of market insights and new product ideas
Assistance
in technical versed inquiries / customers, maintenance of interface to New
Product Introduction
- Clarification
of technical details in pre-acquisition phase
- Provision
of consultation for technical RFQ evaluation
- Interfaces
to Product Managers
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- University
technical degree in Physics or Electrical or Electronics Engineering , solid knowledge in power electronics , optional
in magnetic materials, and their applications
- Prior
experience in high technology segments, preferably within automotive or industry
branches. Fresh graduate are welcome to apply .
- Proven technical competent
to understand new technologies.
- Fluent
in English, mother language Korean
- Available
for frequent travelling and social competence to meet with customers, including potential trips to
Germany
- Analytic,
methodic and business oriented
- Self-motivated
and oriented to results. Willing to work in teams
