Responsibilities:
1. In this challenging position, you will advise and support our global strategic customers with a high level of technical and emotional competence.
2. As part of this comprehensive activity, you will take care of the further development of the business relationship in terms of incoming orders and expanding our portfolio.
3. This also includes to understand customer requirements and challenges in warehouse operations to propose appropriate automation solutions.
4. As a Bid Manager you will support our international technical sales team in both the creation of concepts and the detailing of solutions.
5. As part of this you will collaborate with the Logistics Solutions Team in HQ to develop sales strategies, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts.
6. During these activities you provide accurate and timely technical information, pricing, and specifications to clients.
7. You represent our company in technical and commercial negotiations.
8. You will also be present at international trade shows, conferences, and industry events to network, and represent the company's products and services.
9. You will need to continuously stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to warehouse automation.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Automation Engineering is preferred.
2. Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the warehouse automation or material handling industry.
3. Strong understanding of intralogistics operations, warehouse, material flow and throughput concepts, supply chain management, and logistics.
4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Very good technical and commercial understanding and cost-conscious thinking
6. Ability to assess customer needs, identify pain points, and propose tailored solutions.
7. Fluent in written/verbal English and Korean.
8. Willingness to travel to client sites, trade shows, conferences and international affiliates as required.
9. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
10. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate efforts with internal stakeholders.
11. Basic knowledge of ACAD is an advantage
