[Summary]

Janssen Vaccine, Incheon site is recruiting for a QC Lab Service Senior Supervisor, located in Incheon, Korea.

This role encompasses overall supervision of equipment maintenance and validation in QC Lab service team to provide reliable support for QC laboratory testing activities.

[Main responsibilities]

• Supervise the performance, and scheduling of lab equipment maintenance, and validation activity

-       Maintenance activities include
: Calibration, performance check, preventive maintenance, fix/repair, account review, system audit trail review, data backup/restore test, Periodic review

-       Validation activities include
: Equipment/Instrument introduction, modification, disposal as per annual plan and/or requests

• Act as the contact point for QC lab services’ equipment group which encompasses equipment maintenance and validation (e.g. tier meetings)
• Act as a technical expert and approval authority on relevant issues, protocols, SOPs, maintenance records, etc.
• Support planning and managing annual budget and spending (QC CAPEX)
• Perform a role as an investigation owner for non-conformances
• Support addressing any issues or concerns, seeking resolutions and improvement areas
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

[Qualifications]

Education : Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering/biology/chemistry or related field is required

[Experience and Skills]

Required:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are required
• Build collaborative relationships with counterparts including QA, QC Laboratory, and Engineering departments

Preferred:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
• Leadership experience in quality organization (supervisor or manager)
• Experience in LEAN Fundamentals

Other:

• Good command of written and spoken English, Korean
