As our new Head of Engineering Support Korea you will join MAN ES Korea in an very interesting developing phase. We are the global market leader of energy efficient and fuel flexible large marine engine systems. We are looking for a manager who is self-driven, but still a team player and who thrives to lead a team of experienced production and operational engineers.

Responsibilities:

# Prepares and executes operation tests on the MAN products at the licensees and shipyards in Korea + overseas mainly in Asia 
   but can be worldwide.

# Coordinates technical communication amongst local customers, suppliers and MAN headquarters. 

# Collaborate with Design and R&D department of MAN headquarters.

# Support the operation of site offices in licenses premises as needed in co-operation with the other employees.

# Provides technical support including commissioning, installing, testing, sea trial and maintaining products, equipment, and
   systems through the on-site performance. 

# Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment. 

# Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. 

# Troubleshoots, investigates, and resolves technical problems. 

# Monitors and resolves recurring problems to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.

# Provides technical support services to customers. 

# Delivers highly technical support about utilization of MAN products to achieve technical goals. 

# Resolves customer concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or product application or compatibility matters. 

# May troubleshoot perceived problems with equipment or applications and recommend corrective action. 

# Documents customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development.

Qualifications:
# A background as mechanical or marine engineer - University degree or equivalent in an technical discipline (Technical knowledge of diesel engine auxiliaries and electric equipment.)
# 10+ years of experience in the field.
# Detailed understanding of diesel and gas engine applications including maintenance, operation and control systems.

# Your business mindset ensure that our Korean licensees and sub suppliers will produce robust technical and competitive solutions.
