ㆍ[Night Shift] Korean to English Subtitle Project Manager
                        (Fast track projects)

▶ Job Description

Project Management
ㆍDeliver English subtitles of media content within 8 hours of broadcast
ㆍOversee the entirety of the project and troubleshoot all project related issues real time
ㆍCommunicate with client and freelancers
ㆍPlan and manage schedules of multiple projects

Subtitle Editing - Language Quality Control
ㆍEdit and proofread English subtitles translated from Korean content with proper linguistic tone and flow
ㆍCorrect errors(spelling, mistranslations, nuances) to maintain linguistic quality that meets Kiwi Vine’s standards
ㆍCollaborate with Kiwi localization teams and freelancers to improve accuracy and consistency of localized work, and deliver by set deadlines
ㆍProvide regular feedback to translators and editors to enhance quality
ㆍTranslate and create subtitles for short episodes and teaser videos



▶ Basic Requirements

ㆍAll educational backgrounds, ages, and genders may apply.
ㆍOnly those residing in Korea with valid work visas will be considered.



▶ Key Qualifications

ㆍCultural competence
ㆍExcellent communication and time management skills
ㆍExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
ㆍExhibit strong leadership skills
ㆍStrong grammar and punctuation skills (American English preferred)
ㆍHigh proficiency in English and Korean (TOPIK level 6)
ㆍPassionate about diverse Korean entertainment content

ㆍWork Type : Full-time permanent position after 3-month internship period
ㆍLocation : Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, South Korea

    July 2024 ~ October 2024

    Mon - Fri (5 days/week)
    09:00 ~ 18:00



 
Fast Track Project


 
    November 2024 ~

    Fri - Tue (5 days/week including weekends)
    Night Shift : 20:00 ~ 5:00am





   Fast track projects expected to begin toward the end of year.
   Before then, training will be done from 9:00 to 18:00, Monday through Friday.
