외국계 리테일 기업 - Accounting Manager

BACKGROUND OF OUR CLIENT:

Our client is an international retail company having been in operation for over 90 years with markets in the Asia - Pacific, America and Europe and their head office in Australia. They specialise in various kitchen appliances including but not limited to coffee machines, kettles and toasters and have won various design awards around the world. They are currently experiencing rapid growth in South Korea and they are looking for an accounting manager to join their amazing team.



ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Financial Accounting Manager is responsible for overall accounting and reporting for South Korea. The role involves looking after all local compliances including Tax, Transfer pricing, VAT, Audit and international payments. The role also supports local management with timely and accurate reporting to grow the business.


Completing all Month-end tasks including adjustment journals, accruals, prepayments and IFRS journals Etc.
Maintain Fixed asset register
Preparing monthly balance sheet accounts reconciliations
Reconciling Sales/AR/Unearned revenues for Online sales
Supporting General Manager and Regional commercial team with annual overheads Budget
Quarterly VAT filing
Preparing Corporate tax filing data
Preparing statutory audit data on a half year basis
Maintaining gaps between IFRS and Local GAAP in the ERP
Assisting Global tax team in order to engage with local tax advisor for Transfer Pricing Study providing initial data required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:


Degree qualified in Accounting or related discipline
Minimum 7 years similar experience
Retail experience is preferred
Knowledge of accounting standards
Fluent English skills both speaking and writing
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
