Job Description
- Delivery of business unit sales target and business results by championing a client-centric sales mindset
- To drive and champion a sales and growth mindset within the organization
- To develop a sales strategy and go to market execution plans, with a focus on growing revenue with existing clients, along with expanding client base
- To build and empower a team that is accountable to the delivery of business goals and targets
- Own and manage revenue and sales target
- To build and deliver the annual operating plan
- To manage the ongoing pipeline management, sales forecasts & sales meetings
- To ensure governance on discretionary spending items i.e. travel and entertainment, and timely submission of expenses for the business unit
- Actively engage with clients, taking ownership for key strategic accounts
- Undertake regular top to top engagements and sales meetings
- Be the voice of the client into Nielsen, and the voice of Nielsen into the client
- To ensure client centricity and satisfaction, accountability to NPS scores
- To represent the Nielsen brand in the marketplace, participating in external events and professional speaking engagements
- To build and maintain external partnerships that enable business strategy
- To be a role model internally, participate in company events and activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, social sciences, business management or any related field
- Minimum 10 years working experience in market research or a related field
- Previous experience in managing a client portfolio and delivering sales results against established quotas. Working with remote teams is a plus.
- Previous experience in client servicing and managing large accounts
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and comfortable and disciplined using CRM tools (SalesForce, MSD)
