Basic Function

ㆍProvides advanced technical assistance and training to customers, sales representatives,
and application engineers both in the factory and at field locations.
Support quotations and order and projects documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

ㆍProvide quotation and/or order entry support to sales/customers
   - Assist in product selection, sizing, configuration and pricing of Brooks products to fit the
     customer’s application.
   - Support the quote and order placement process to ensure timely and accurate information is
     provided to the customer and/or order entry.
ㆍCo-ordinate and follow through on project activities and documentation.
   - Provide leadership for co-ordinating necessary documentation for EPC projects
   - Provide leadership for continuous improvement initiatives and/or special projects
ㆍMaintain a high level of technical product knowledge for state of the art electronic products offered
   by Brooks Instrument.
   - Provide technical expertise at customer site when necessary.
   - Develop and present technical training material for all Brooks Instrument products, especially for
     new products to customers and sales representatives.
   - Keep current with technological and competitive developments.
ㆍSupport Brooks Instrument training programs.
   - Provide training to sales representatives and/or customers at the factory and/or by traveling
     to field locations.
ㆍUse judgment in making adaptations or modifications.
   - Assist customers and Sales Representatives with special application requirements not covered
     by the Brooks standard product offering using the defined process to assess technical and
     commercial viability.
ㆍRegular attendance and the ability to get along with others in a team environment.
ㆍThe ability to follow all safety policies and procedures.
ㆍSupport company continual improvement initiatives.
ㆍOther duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

ㆍBS engineering Degree (Electrical/Electronic/Instrumentation/Mechanical) preferred.
ㆍA newbie or Experience of a minimum of one (1) year in engineering, EPC, chemical/petrochemical
   engineering, vacuum coating, solar industries, preferably working in an industrial products environment
   industry and/or instrumentation markets.
ㆍEquivalent related experience working in an industrial products environment or otherwise,
   as determined by management’s sole discretion, may be considered.
ㆍPC knowledge to include proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows applications. Auto-Cad,
   PDF Writer.
ㆍStrong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
ㆍGood communication and interpersonal skills.
ㆍGood command of English (written and speaking)
ㆍFamiliar with flow instrumentation industry is an advantage
ㆍCustomer service experience will be an advantage.
