Battery Technician (프랑스계 화학회사)

* JOB DIMENSION

The technician will be in charge of tech service and data generation for the Kynar Battery Business for domestically and globally and it is mainly binder evaluation for battery application. Partly, data generation for HPP(High Performance Polymer department) activities may be needed. He or She will have the responsibility of data generation in STC. Also, battery technician has to keep the records for all the experimental activities precisely. The technician may interact globally with Kynar technical colleagues.


* CONTEXT & ENVIRONMENT

This position is based at Arkema STC(Seoul Technical Center) in Hanyang University. This position reports to Battery BD manager.
As South Korea is taking the lead in battery market, competition between materials development companies are quite high. In order to stay close to customers, person in charge of battery technician needs to generate battery related data in a daily basis to cope with customers’ requests with punctuality.


* WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO

Technical service for Business development
1) The requested technical analyses from BD must be performed according to Arkema Safety Standards;
e.g., Slurry preparation, film preparation, peel strength measurements or thermal analysis.
2) To keep facilities in STC as clean (5S), safe, and efficient;
3) To contribute to develop tests, procedures, and methods required to achieve experimental results;
4) To contribute to Safety and Environmental standards; Data recording & management;
5) To record all experimental work and test results performed and related laboratories;
6) To handover summarized results, including his or her own comments to BD manager in STC;


* WHAT DO YOU NEED TO HAVE

1) Knowledge & Experience
(1) At least bachelor’s degree in polymer / chemistry / energy engineering related major;
(2) Working experience in related fields is preferred, but not essential;
(3) Ability to perform daily lab activities with safety always first in mind;

2) Skills & Abilities
(1) Ability to prioritize given tasks and to finish them with punctuality;
(2) Ability to utilize Micro Office software to present results;
(3) Ability for teamwork;
(4) Ability to work in a multi-cultural & multifunction team;
(5) Good written and spoken English and Korean;

* 주요업무
배터리 분야 사업 개발을 위한 기술 지원
1) 배터리 적용 평가
- 슬러리 및 전극 제조, 슬러리 및 전극의 특성 평가, 전기화학 특성 평가
2) 고분자 물성 평가
고분자 특성 분석
- HPP(High performance polymer) 부서의 기술 지원 및 데이터 생성을 담당, 주요 분야는 Kynar PVDF의 배터리 적용 평가를 통한 국내외 Kynar battery business의 기술 지원
- 위와 같은 평가 업무는 BD manager에 의해 요청되며, Arkema의 test protocol, 실험실 안전수칙을 준수하여 진행
- 평가에 관련된 사항을 정리하여 보고서 작성 후 BD manager에게 보고

* 자격 요건
1) 화학공학, 화학, 신소재 공학, 재료 공학, 에너지공학, 고분자 공학 초대졸, 학사 이상(졸업 예정자 가능)
2) 배터리 및 고분자 관련 실험 경력 우대
3) 영어 가능자
