Procurement Agent

Under the general supervision of the Procurement Supervisor, is responsible for procurement and acquisition functions that include supplier analysis and selection, simplified acquisitions using a purchase card, negotiation, contracting and supply chain management.  Working closely with the Procurement Supervisor, handles contract management functions involving formal contracting process and reports formal contracting activities directly to the Contracting Officer.  Provides backup supervisory duties when Procurement Supervisor is absent.  These services will be provided to the Department of State, agency subscribers to the International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS), and other U.S. Government agencies’ requirements.  Performs other duties as needed.
