[Job Description]:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced driver to join our embassy team. The driver will be responsible for transporting diplomats, important guests, and embassy staff in a safe and timely manner. This role requires adherence to diplomatic protocols and ensuring a high level of professionalism at all
times. Proficiency in English is mandatory for all applicants. The Honduran Embassy offers a competitive package with individual
salaries in relation to previous experience and unique conditions including among other things 28 leave days per year and a life-long pension from Honduras according to set criteria.

be notified by July31st. If selected, in person interviews will be conducted. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis.

Candidates must be available from August 1st, 2024. There will be a 6 month trial period.


[Key Responsibilities]:

- Safely transport diplomats, guests, and staff to various destinations as required.
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained embassy vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and diplomatic protocols.
- Assist with loading/unloading luggage and other items.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance and schedule repairs when needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Assists in organizing logistics for high level visits and other visits.
- Conducts messenger duties including the mail.


[Requirements]:

- Proficiency in English is required (Communication will only be facilitated through English)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a diplomatic or similar setting.
- Familiarity with routes.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (Extra hours will be given back).
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and efficiency.


[Preferred Qualifications]:

Knowledge of diplomatic protocol and etiquette.
Previous experience as a driver for embassy or diplomatic missions.

A driving test may be scheduled and the Embassy will ask for a copy of criminal records from Korean authorities.
