* Job Description:
Leads the technical design, product development, market implementation, maintenance and cost optimization of beauty products including color and skin care products for assigned product lines by:
- Partnering with various internal and external customers and/or vendors to ensure technical solutions of beauty products are consumer-focused while meeting quality, cost and timing requirements
- Effectively partnering with Marketing, Technical Regulatory and Consumer Product Research and other cross-functional team members to establish appropriate technical profiles to meet functional, aesthetic and product claims platforms that meet consumer needs
- Coordinating, documenting and interpreting data and technical outcomes of bench top and small scale experiments furthering the understanding of product or concept robustness in preparation for larger scale experiments
- Developing standards and production specifications that enable products to be manufactured consistently and safely which meet quality and regulatory requirements
- Maintaining and troubleshooting products in the field toward improvements to better meet design, function, processing, operation or sensory quality which enhances compliance or integrity standards
- Partnering with Marketing and Sales counterparts to present and/or demonstrate products to the customer in support of key business strategies
- Conducting early research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation and performance of product ideas, prototypes or concepts
- Performing as a technical liaison with global and/or regional partners, Marketing Affiliates and technical counterparts to enhance understanding of executing developments for the global market
- Developing relationships with internal and external experts, vendors and collaborators toward idea generation and innovation which is applied to product development
- Investigating emerging beauty technologies, identifying and evaluating new beauty technologies including recent science, unique formula and delivery forms.

* Desired Degree/Experience
- Above bachelor's degree in chemistry, biotechnology or relating degree with over 3 years of experience in the field, or over 7 years of experience in the cosmetic field.

* Desired Skills:
- Strong knowledge in skin science and mechanism of actions of products in human body
- Strong knowledge in raw materials for Color Cosmetics such as powders, silicones, etc.
- Positive and flexible attitude in dealing with multiple tasks
- Above mid-to-high-level of written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in dealing with engineering and Microsoft-tools
