Job Overview :
The Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in the engineering
function, developing and executing roadmaps, defining budgets and ensuring a strong level of
competency to deliver a competitive product portfolio which meets time, cost and quality targets.
You will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and optimizing features and flows that
enhance the user experience of travelers worldwide.
The Engineering Manager will report to the CEO and will also interface directly with the Product
and Business teams.

Head of Engineering
Responsibilities ㆍWork closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, translate
    them into software requirements and act as the engineering team's
    primary point of contact.
ㆍEnsure proper team focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables.
ㆍLead architectural conversations to maximize performance across
    different devices and browsers through high-quality reusable code.
ㆍDefine and upkeep coding standards to ensure scalability, modularity,
    and maintainability.
ㆍAssist team members in architectural compliance, functional accuracy
     validation, and adherence to appropriate industry standards.
ㆍSupport the product team in planning and aligning to company objectives.
ㆍProvide leadership and direction to the engineering team, and facilitate
    team cohesion and communication.
ㆍMentor engineers to improve their technical and soft skills,
     ensuring good career progression.
ㆍIdentify and measure system health indicators and service level
     agreements.
Requirements ㆍAt least 5 years experience working in full-stack development,
    with at least 1 year experience as a team lead, engineering
     manager or similar.
ㆍStrong software development skills and testing methodologies.
ㆍExcellent English communication and teamwork skills.
ㆍBasic understanding of generative algorithms.
Optional
Requirements		 ㆍOur frontend tools : Typescript + npm, React, Tailwind, Protobuf,
    Storybook, Chromatic, Figma.
ㆍOur backend tools : Golang, PostgresSQL, Docker, Terraform, MongoDB
ㆍOther tools : Azure, Git, Grafana, Datadog.
ㆍExperience with Agile software development methodologies.
ㆍExperience with Jira and Confluence.
