Job title: Key account manager
Primary location: Seongnam(Pangyo), Korea
Objectives:
• Manage Key account sales team’s accounts, create good relationships and grow the sales revenue.
• Search and develop new opportunities for Hexagon’s total solutions including engineering services
• Manage project development and delivery as account owner to drive new solutions sales through engineering services, proof of concept, etc
• Collaborate with global and local technical team to define the outcome of projects and deliver the value of Hexagon’s solutions
• Collaborate with the whole sales organization in Korea and globally to implement sales strategies for responsible accounts
• Manage and develop close and firm business relationships with customers
• Develop a successful account plan with a strategy for successful implementation
• Perform sales activities and negotiate prices and discounts according to the Hexagon commercial approval matrix.
• Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams within the assigned accounts.
• Coordinate proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
• Collaborate with appropriate personnel to develop sales strategies to improve market share in product lines and services.
Qualification
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Technical Field, or equivalent successful experience in a CAE, automotive, aerospace, defense, electronics industries
• 5-7 years of successful sales experience in engineering / CAE field or equivalent business development and sales strategies development experience
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
• Business English ability
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, Interpersonal and organizational skills
• Available for Travel 25% for global customers
Education & Experience:
• BS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with related industry experience.
• 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in technical sales is preferred
• Potential and passionate candidates who want to build a career in sales are also welcome
• Relationships at machine tool companies: Doosan, Hyundai Wia, Hwacheon, Hanwha, etc
Preferences:
• Drivetrain engineering or sales experience
• CAE solutions or engineering service experience
• Romax experience
• Adams experience
• Customer Service or Sales Support experience.
• Proven Project Management skills.
• Channel sales experience
