Engineer: IT Technical Support

Job Profile Summary

The primary responsibility of IT Technical Support Engineers is to provide a service to internal clients to ensure that the IT infrastructure and systems remain operational. This is done through proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving more complex technical incidents and problems and restoring service to clients by managing these incidents are managed to resolution.

Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

l  Focus on ensuring all lines of support for Virtual Desktop, PCs, laptops, including all related hardware such as thin clients, software installs and support as well as mobility and BYOD requirements

l  Second level support for all calls not able to be handled by service desk

l  Support on OS patching, Anti-virus patching, Application installation, upgrade and troubleshooting

l  Proactively identify problems, events, incidents, and errors prior to or when they occur.

l  Work collaborative with the team and provide the best support experience to the clients with customer focused.

l  Ability to communicate well and to capture all pertinent details when required will contribute to their success

l  Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster and maintain solid stakeholder relationships

l  Excellent client service orientation and passion for achieving or exceeding expectations

l  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

l  Ability to place clients at the forefront of all interactions, understanding their requirements, and creating a positive client experience throughout the total client journey

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

l  Business level English proficiency

l  Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in IT/Computing, or equivalent

l  Relevant IT certifications, e.g. ITIL, Microsoft 365, etc. is a plus

Required Experience:

l  End user support experience with general technical knowledge

l  Technical experience with a variety of technologies, e.g., Secure Print, MS Azure, Meeting Room Technologies, Microsoft 365, etc

Working Hours

09:00~18:00 but Flexible working hour will be applied if required.
